I believe you can count on Valve to make the necessary changes if any is actually required to the game for it to run on Windows I’m guessing they keep selling copies of the game whenever there’s a Steam sale, and selling a game that doesn’t work on the latest version of Windows would be quite bad publicity, considering they have everything they need ownership of that intellectual property, the source code, and programmers to make that one work.
